Gen 2 Drag Motor Pistons . . Machined Skirts . . Interesting Video!

The crazy thing is, the guy that owns the pistons had the cylinders bored BEFORE he bought the pistons, then asked the machinist guy to lathe them down to his clearance specs.... completely the wrong way of going about it.
The guy that bored the cylinders should never have done the job without the pistons in hand to measure and calculate the bore size to suit.
Anyway, at the start of part 2 vid, he says he’s not going to machine the pistons but rather have cylinders bored or honed to gain the necessary 2 thou clearance specified by owner.
He’s a great machinist but had little automotive machining experience and to his credit, openly admits it and takes the overwhelming advice of all the comments on his vid. Good guy!
