Gen 1 Tiger Tail

Ive been having a problem since I put on my 240 kit with the tire hitting the undertail where the license plate mount is. I've been thinking about installing a tiger tail just not sure how much more clearance I would be getting with this. Does anyone have any idea?

Tail is a +4 and the bike is lowered with the 240 kit.

I think I gained probably 2 inches with the tiger tail installed on my gen1, stretched about 3.5 inches with a catalyst 4 over tail. I had a solo tail tho... so I bent the tiger tail upward and as far back towards the tail light as I could. That way it would be up and out of the way of the tire.

Are you sure you have the right shock for your application? You can get some clearance from a tiger tail but it may still bottom out and you will need to find a new location for your license plate as the tiger tail has no mounting solution for it. It has no attachment in the back to your bike, its loose so your license plate will dangle, dance, and likely shake free.
