Gen 1 Slave Cylinder Won't Reseat Need Your Help!

What's up errbody noobie to the group but Vet to bikes. This is my first 07 Gen 1 hayabusa. I'm having problems reseating the slave cylinder.... any advise or tips? I don't wanna crack the clutch cover housing and I bought a slave cylinder rebuild kit just in case. I have removed the cylinder and cleaned all areas with just a rag but it won't sit all the way flush to put the housing back on bike! Thanks in advance!!

I have come to the point where I took the complete bleed nipple off. When I got the rebuild kit I have noticed a circular disk that was not in what was dissesembled. Could that be the prob? Or do I need to remove the reservoir hose for more air flow?
