Gen 1 Givi V35?

Looking to put hard cases on my 05 and noticed that Givi doesn't make a mounting system for their V35 cases for Gen 1 Busa's. They only make it for the Gen 2's. Has anyone modified a mounting system to put V35's on a Gen 1?

I live near reno and visited the givi west coast distributor. We tried fitting a number of brackets, nothing worked. You should be able to get a fabricator to make one,as long as the holes line up, the plastic mounting adapter will work.

I also ended up getting a xstream magnetic bag instead.

I sure hope you figure something out, 'cause I love my V35's on my Gen2.

I figure the only way to go about it is to get the SW-Motech V35 mounting gear for the Gen 2 and modify it to fit the Gen 1. I suppose the question is...is it worth the hassle? I do prefer the V35's over the Kappa K40's, at least in appearance.
