yes you can put gen 1 cans on, but for each gen 1 can you must fit a small bracket behind the muffler mounting tab facing the rear, and use a spacer on each side going to the footpeg mount. I did mine and painted them black to match the stock ones. I also drilled out my baffle. Sounds great and less restrictive. Also installed powercommander and pipercross air filter. Can't wait to dyno her. Still saving up for pipe though.
