Gearing and Speed at 11,000 RPM

Does anyone know approx speed at 11k RPM for the first three gears? I'm having trouble finding out for my self, because I'm afraid and a big chicken. lol

I suspect 3rd gear at 11k RPM is waaaaaaay over the speed limit...

1st should be around 76
2nd is somewhere around 101

1st- 78
2nd- 105
3rd- 133
4th- 158
5th- 179
6th- 195

In reality though there are other factors at play. Tire size, tire wear,etc.

I was wondering why I never even got close to 10.5k RPM...... Makes sense now.

Something else to consider is the standard Gen 2 tacho can be out as much as 800 to 1000rpm .

you should run a 18/40 gear with a 200/55 tire
then
you shift in first gear at close to 90 at 12 thou
114 + in 2nd
145+ in 3rd
173+ in 4th
195+ in 5th
212 + in 6th
If you have the HP.
Lower gears are no problem.

Falling off, rev limiter raised to 11600 but I believe the tach is slightly off too so I think motor is spinning 11,200ish?

Well, how much sooner does the power fall off and why shift @ 12K (after) the motor stops making power?

You would need to be a real lightweight rider to get a stock motor Busa to pull top gear with 18/40 gearing + a 200/55 tire quickly , or at least be making far more than stock HP , that is tall gearing . In my case , I need much shorter than stock 18/43 gearing 18 / 47 for my stock motor to pull the higher gears quickly , to allow for my weight and difficulty tucking in behind the screen and the 200/55 I run .

good question... in extreme pro street turbo builds with lots of headwork and cams.... the motors are still producing past stock redline...… but...…. dennis would have the answers for all motor setups and nitrous also.. I believe.
