Gas Cap Won't Close

I almost always take pictures when I take something apart for the first time, key word almost.
Took my stock locking gas cap on my 07 Busa to clean it. I think I put it back together right but for some reason it won't close. Not lock but seems to be getting hung up on something. Help.

Can't really help, maybe take it back apart and see if you can figure it out.
