Been there myself, twice. I got a cheep syphon pump from autozone so I didn't need to be sucking on tubes.

This picture made me realize that this is the first motorcycle I have ever owned that didn't have a petcock. First my drum brakes went, then dual shocks, and now this. I must be getting old. What's the world coming to?

Drain it first, i forgot, emove the seat, then the 2 bolts at the front by the forks, then lift the tank, there is a blot through the hinge, its 12mm, pull that out and undo the wiring harness and its off. I left the two vent tubes off the bottom attached to the tank. oh, and the you have to angle the tank when you try and get the bolt out, the frame is in the way, but it does come out
