Full Exhaust?

Ok so when put on a full exhaust system is it always necessary to remove and drain the rad.

I didn't have to. I just unbolted it and moved it forward a bit.

Me too. Yoshi full did not require rad drain.

I pulled out a full Yoshimura r77 system and installed a full Brocks AH2. It's tight but can be done without draining the coolant system.

Same, didn't have to remove it. I would remove your oil cooler though. A little bit drips out but nothing big. Makes install 1000x easier.

I have a Ti-Force and I was not necessary to drain or remove the radiator

I thought I read that you can unbolt the the Radiator from the bracket to give a little more wiggle room? or is the oil cooler?

This is a little off topic but, I just pull my akrapovic head pipes out of the spigots without even loosening the radiator or oil cooler.

In the Yoshimura R55 install guide the second step is to remove the oil cooler mounting bracket from the motorcycle. I did not install mine nor do I know if the mechanic who did actually needed to remove it.

I removed both the radiator, and oil cooler.. For me it was worth the extra 15 minutes removing them to not have to deal with any 'tight' spaces. After the exhaust was installed, 15 minutes to re-install radiator and oil cooler. And, I needed to flush my radiator anyway.

Wise decision IMO. I'm sure this also helped prevent smashing up the cooling fins on both coolers.

I have a TiForce and remove the oil cooler but just unbolt the radiator and move it forward.
