Fuel Rail Pressure

Ok, so I installed a fiberglass tank, external fuel pump with filters and a regulator. If memory serves I should be running 42psi...right? Also, as my rpms climb, should my fuel pressure rise? When I get close to red line my fuel pressure is close to 60psi. That seems high, so I thought I would ask around.

Thanks for any advice/insight! :beerchug:

on a NA engine your pressure doesn't need to rise with the rpm. I run a flat fuel pressure on my setup from idle to redline.

Found the problem. The pressure regulater has a manifold line (vacuum) that increases pressure in a turbo application. I unplugged the vacuum from the regulator and I'm holding 43 psi all the way to red line.

Thanks Commuta!!!:beerchug:
