Front tire tool ???

what are you guys using to get the nut off there front so i can get the rim and tire off
got some new tires and been taking the back rim off for years but payin someone to take the front off
i know its a 24mm
but just want to see what everybody uses or can put me on the right track

If you don't have a welder handy JB Weld does the trick as well to keep the nuts in place! :thumbsup: The tool shouldn't cost you over $2 with the parts from the local hardware store.

I put a nut that size on a bolt and welded it. Now I use a socket on the bolt.

I did the exact same thing. Paid a guy $5 to weld the nuts to the bolt. Heck of a lot cheaper than the $25-$30 you'd pay if you bought the actual tool from a bike shop.
 
if it has not been mentioned before without a weldder you can also put the nut on the bolt...drill a hole through the nut / bolt and tap in a spring pin to lock it in place, and grind it smooth.

I'm going to try this. Right now I'm using the double-nut trick...

just did the front wheels last night too!
