Front stand problems with lowered bike

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their front stand after having lowered their bike. I can't get mine to work anymore.

If it is the pin in the lower triple tree...yes...the fork leg lift...not really

Mines fork. And i have no clue why it's not working anymore. It doesn't pivot enough and the forks just slide off the stand

I'm confused, but what's new

Without thinking a lot about it, I don't know how lowering the bike would change anything in reference to your stand ( triple tree excluded )

Here's a pic of the stand on the forks. When I go to pull the stand down it barley pivots and they slide right off. Sorry for no flash and sideways pic. Stands are made by power stands

Lowering the bike should make no difference with that stand.. :dunno:

I'm confused too.

Are the wheels on the stand freely moving? Sounds more like a stand issue..

Just looked at mine and it appears that you must have a pin pointing up to attach
to the hole in the bottom of the fork, right?

So everything worked just fine before you lowered it?

If the pins on your stand are not long enough I could see it slipping off,
but like everyone else said, lowering it should have had no effect.
How much did you lower it?

Here is a picture - so everyone that doesn't know what we are talking about can
see what we are talking about.

The type of stand he's using doesn't use the pins..

The more I look at my stand I believe it might be slightly bent

Sounds like you may have found the issue..

Damage to the stand or technique. The pin stand takes a lot of care and technique, this stand might also.

sorry to not be of help, but I'm running the same style stands on my busa with a 1" drop and I don't have any problems...I'd suspect the stands themselves are sticking or something...
