Front rotors on my 02 Busa

My .02

Power, no matter the number, does you no good if 1, you can’t hook it and 2 you can’t stop it. None of what I said means you have to spend a shittillion on brakes, do what work your budget however, if you can’t stop, you die. /.02

If you want top tier performance, its hard to beat the Galfers which again as stated by RT @c10 has. The major advantage when I asked Bryan was the serviceable buttons. You could essentially separate the floating disc from the carrier for cleaning and what not.

The best bang for the buck in my opinion (and what I would have purchased had I not found the Braking's) are the Yana Shiki. They have a distinctive look, people who have used them have great things to say and at only $153.00 per rotors its a great deal.

I wss looking at the Yana Shiki. so u think there good to go ,I read up on the forum here people bash them badly they say they are are garbage, I dee a while back Pashnit I hope im spelling the name right use to sell them and had them on his Busa for a year with no problems, Imop everything is made in Japan or China alot of quantity things Honda , Toyota, and I think the Busa I could be wrong on the Busa I, know someone will set me straight if Im wrong , late I will create a post for reviews only for the Yana Shiki to see if I can get honest person feedback thanks

Hope you knocked on wood when you said "...waste on a new brake setup"! I don't know any crazy fast guys who aren't brake fanatics. It's the difference between being an astronaut or a monkey sitting atop a Saturn V rocket...….

a lil different.... a monkey on top of a rocket has NO LEVERS at all... me... I got a lever.... and my USED BREMBO GP4RX.... UUUUUUUSSSSSSEEEEEDDDDDDD.... USED.... did I mention I bought em used? saved a LOT...…. GP4RX...… so eat it. NICKEL PLATED used gp4rx.... BREMBOS.... just to be clear..... they are not new..... cause ali123 is cheap. and has bills to pay.... BALLIN ON A BUDGET.

Save the labor $, and spend it on tools and stands.
The service manual is a free download.
Many of us here can walk you through the job, or most any other for that matter.
Some may even live close enough to help you in person.
Do it yourself, you'll learn alot, and save time and money, and not have to worry about a shop screwing up your bike.:beerchug:

lol.... arch.... i spent 6800 on a mattress... tempur predic… the salesman started talkin and he was makin a lot of sense... anyhow.... the interest free period is coming to an end.... I don't know what is wrong with me.
 
Ali I hit some button on my phone and noticed it said report a post. I think I canceled it but if not let me know if you get any grief bud total accident. I didn't even know how to do that

anyway, I'm pretty good with focus. all my extra cash is in computers and motorcycles.
The no interest stuff. Problem with interest free is people wait the period out then realize they owe all that interest now too.
Interest is slave money peeps!

A good mattress is not a bad investment, especially for someone in your line of work. You're still in the porn industry right? ha mo you have a job that breeds back issues.

I paid it off...……...… but im broke now..... lolol... now im waiting on the 10-15 grand the state owes us.... retroactive pay..... I NEED it now, and rumor has it its gonna be direct deposited into our checking accounts.... EVERYDAY PAYDAY I run to the atm to see if the money arrived... lol.. like a drug addict I RACE to the atm every payday

Those are the stainless variety , and by everything I have ever heard , are a good wave pattern rotor Nastee . You can get them with choice of 2 color buttons , and 320mm straight up fitment for Gen 1 and I believe 310mm and 330mm for Gen 2 . The 'wave' feature with this disc would serve more as a standout look more than anything , and the bonus of lighter than a full ss disc because of pattern . I personally really like them for just those reasons bro .

Well , there is a few things put out there in regards to wave rotors , one is the heat dissipation . Largely because motorcycle rotors are straight out in front of the bike , in the air stream , unlike cars , heating up to extraordinarily high temps is uncommon . Excluding high temperature day and / or possibly any day on closed circuit racing motorcycle .
The positives mainly imho , are the weight loss , the striking looks , the choice of patterns out there , and broad price range among various manufacturers .
Just the fact , that racing motorcycle don't use them , despite the weight promise , tells me they are not the very finest for race , but are very well suited to street bikes in general .
Of note , Kawasaki were offering models such as the ZX10R with petal front rotors at one time , maybe other models as well , but I bet they were commonly swapped out by even the club racers when able .
