front brake

thought i would let you good people know if you want to improve the front brake braking fit a radial front master cylinder. i have just fitted one off a 2005 R1 on my Gen 1 and i would say its about 60% better overall. best £100 or $160 i have ever spend on my brakes. i already had goodridge braided hose fitted.

Got any pictures? What does it mean "radial"? I understand the difference in radial caliper vs. non-radial, but not when it comes to the master cylinder.

Got one on my busa and love it! Better feel and power The other 1ks Radials do work. Upgraded my 02 1k to a 07 gsxr 1ks radial master cylinder. All still better then the stock busa older design master cylinder!

Hi all,

well i have just changed my front calipers from the 6 pot to 4 pot calipers.
i got a good pair off ebay for £60 from a 2006 Triumph ST1050.

So now with the R1 Radial Master Cylinder, the Triumph 4 pot Calipers with EBC pads and Goodridge Blue hoses, my busa stops better than it has ever had. the total cost for the whole upgrade is just under £200 (uk).

Actually with the Accossato right now, you get a free front Galfer brake line kit with the purchase of the master cylinder. Nice sale till end of this year.

Doesn't make sense to upgrade to a radial master cylinder, then hook it up to your stock rubber brake lines.
