Found a nice 100 mile circuit around a couple lakes.

Took out the Honda today looking for a nice lil ride. Haven’t been on these roads and boy are some of them nice! I’ll do the same route next time on the Busa cause I could barely hit 120 on the CBX:laugh:. Not bad for a 39 year old bike.

Yeah me too, that's why I like to sit back and gaze at your avatar LOL

I almost bought a CBX when they first came out (yeah that make me over 30 ;<) The two things I loved...the Indy car sound when it sings...and the little spoiler thingy on the tail.

...”the little spoiler thingy” I think it sounds more like an older Acura NSX, also a six. One came up on me one day while I was railing thru some corners in the Santa Cruz mountains. He was really honking it and it’s high revving six sounded a lot like the CBX.

You could always jump on the Willie wagon ~ and get yourself a BMW six cylinder *

Did I mention the weather was great? Spring has sprung I think. And wouldn’t it be nice to live on the lake....:firing: It will be a month or so before the Sierra passes are open but when they do there will be some good rides for sure. Up and over nearly 10,000’ and back again over another pass, the lowest of which is almost 9,000’. I’ve ridden over them in June and had to put on my cold weather gear around 7,500’ on one side going up and take them off around 7,500’ on the other side going down.

True but we didn't have a NSX to compare it to in 78 and Indy cars sounded less angry then so with a Kirker it was fairly close to me ;<)
I bet it feels pretty damn cool riding on that piece of history.
