Fork seals replacement cost!

Ok so I'm from Houston Texas. I'm trying to get my fork seals replaced and the prices seem very high... Is it 400 to 500 dollars normal for this job? I've called around to numerous Suzuki dealers and other mechanics and keep getting the same price. Anyone else from the Houston area paying these prices? I do most the maintenance myself but this was something I didn't feel comfortable doing but might have to just give it a go and hope for the best..

I’m in Houston as well as @c10 and Rob @Boosted Cycle Perf I would check with rob and see if he can do them. I had mine done at racetech and resprung with gold valves. My cost was a bit higher than just seals

Is that price with the forks removed or still on the bike? Parts and labor for removed forks should be $250 or less at the shop.

I got Ohlins done for $350 with service (cleaning and oil) so year that seems super high.

Mine were $150 a leg (on the bike) as I recall. Had them done after one blew out and at 65,000+ miles I decided to replace the front tire and rotors at the same time. That was just a few months ago.

15 dollar academy hard rifle case makes a great shipping container.

Just scrolling through while waiting for my seals to come in. I'm using my brother's dirtbike mechanic and he said he would do them for $65 if I brought him just the forks and parts. Hope you have yours worked out!
