Fork seal and oil change.

Sometimes nature provides the ‘special tools’ :D.
Straightening the headstock on one of my748 s, that i crashed getting my knee down on a roundabout, one week later repaired and riding around Spain for 2 weeks, good ole steel trellis frames on the Ducati’s.

Well it turns out the dampener cartridge is actually made of 3 outer parts not 2 as it seemed. Either side can unscrew; which will loosen depends on which was tightened down the hardest at factory. Bottom unscrewed on one fork & had to use a pipe wrench on the tube which was the perfect tool no damage. These were all the parts inside cartridges.

Yeah, I also made my own tool using a piece of exhaust tubing and welded nuts on it with bolts ground to a tapered end, and some solid rod welded to each side as handles to push down on.
I like making tools, very satisfying.
I did like your tool, very heavy duty!
