Fork question!!

ok, I have a couple of quesions.......first, when reinstalling forks, how high up into the tripple do you put the forks.

Second, when you install the cap onto the damper rod, how many threads should be left showing? If you run it all the way down and reinstall it oly gives you like 7 clicks o the rebound adjuster.???

Height on the forks if i remember correctly is 8 3/8, but i always measure when i disassemble.

As for the fork cap re-installation, it measurement is 11mm.

I would have measured with taking it apart but it had been lowered so I wanted to double check that when we raised it back up it was correct. So what you mean is you leave 11mm between the bottom of the shaft and the fork cap?
