Fork dimensions on the 2008 'Busa

Hi guys and greetings from the cold north in Sweden.

My name is Viktor, a 22 year old guy that loves to customize bikes. I work as a welder and in my spare time I usually tinker with my old Suzuki GS1150 project bike.

Now for my question. And I apologize that the bike is not a Hayabusa but it's older predecessor.

Currently, I have a set of Hayabusa forks that came off the 2006 model (and some GSX-R calipers fitted to the bike. These have worked very well for me and I don't really have any complaints. But knowing what the fully adjustable Ohlins rear shocks have done for my bike, I can't help but wonder what some Ohlins forks would do.

Now as part of the winter upgrades I'm thinking of buying a set of Ohlins front forks (FG R&T 805) and some nice radial calipers to go along with these.

What I'm wondering is:

Are the dimensions on the forks the same between the years? As in: are they interchangeable?

The dimensions on the 2006 forks are as follows:

Upper triple tree: 50mm
Lower triple tree: 56mm
Wheel spindle: 32mm

Not really concerned about disc spacing and all that since it can be fixed later. I just want to know if the fork legs dimensions are the same.

Thanks!
