Ford transit works perfect

Seeing everyone's trailer is nice. Also the Astro van is a good idea too. For anyone following this topic, in order to get the bike to the tail of the dragon last year I borrowed a Ford transit 350 medium high roof. I used the Harbor Freight chock. Attached to floor using exhaust pipe clamps. Kept my baby out of the weather and elements for the 700 mile drive each way. I left a complete bench seat in it and the only seat that's bolted down. My friends were OK with their bikes on a trailer, and had loads of space for gear and luggage.

Don't use those ribs going up the side as an anchor like I did. On this model, they aren't welded to the panels, just at top & bottom - panel adhesive in between.
A nasty bump towards the end of the trip pulled the rib off the panel. Bike survived; not so much the van.

I'm switching to the PitBull TRS next month.
