For being a dispassionate, grumpy scrapper

I'm a big music lover. From Coal Chamber and Rob Zombie, to Miles Davis and Nina Simone, to George Strait and Flatt and Scruggs, to...She Daisy?

That lead singer...is her name...Kiley? or what the heck ever her name is, she just has a pure, clean, beautiful voice; and this song, 'Come Home Soon,' really moves me.

I think of my fellow Marines who re-upped when I declined, and some of them are probably still in the fleet; maybe on the front now, perhaps some have died there, perhaps some made it through okay. Even though I processed out six years ago now...I still wonder, think, remember. I think of their families, and the families of the men and women who are serving right now, and, I have to tell you, this song really...just moves me.

So, anyway...SHEESH! Enough of that. I've got to cuddle my girls now, and get them ready for bed, and prepare myself to be grumpy and stone faced tomorrow on the job.
