Geminid Meteor Shower

should be a pretty interesting show if you can get away from the lights and have clear skies...says it peaks between 0200-0300

i love meteor showers and "with as many as 160 meteors per hour", it should be a good opportunity to see quite a few

that was awesome!! some of the best skies i have had in quite a while...headed north out into the country a ways and found a nice, quiet spot next to the river...was out there for about an hour and saw around 100 meteors...laying in the bed of the truck and being amazed by the spectacular show sure puts my little life and puny problems in perspective
