As most know I am going to Kuwait soon. My question is what sat phone is the best or should I say..I noticed there is a wide variety of companies that offer service. Who is the best. I plan on making some money off fellow troops who wanna talk to there families while over playing in the sandpit

do a google search for sat phone forums and check coverages. also check with your military restrictions and laws. these things are comparitively cheap and functional like a cell phone. I forgot the one we rented [found via goole] but it was decent communication and coverage for overseas travel in the middle of nowhere. hope you find one that works out for you. it's a great idea!

also look into international coverage for your cell phone. ya never know
