I just scooped up this bargain today.
A 1976 Japanese vintage Nashville N-40d Dreadnought acoustic guitar, in excellent condition for 40 years old!
Included was the original hard case, made by Takabe Japan
These Nashville guitars are made by Tahara San, a Japanese master Luthier and they are a direct copy of the legendary Guild D40, so much so that there was copyright infringements and many of these were destroyed as a result.
Some survived . . . and this is one that did!
It is so nice and unmarked that I think it may have sat in the case in someone's wardrobe for decades on end.
The strings are light gauge and very dirty, so hard to hear how good the tone is from the aged mahogany and rosewood but it will get new medium gauge strings tomorrow!
Check it out . . .

I love electric strings on an acoustic.
Usually have to lower the bridge, but I think they play better, and sound better too, just not as loud.
My Dad did that to a new cheapo $100 Johnson electric/acoustic years back(still has it), and it plays and sounds better than any acoustic I ever tried.
Last Guild I had was an X79 Skyhawk, electric, 24 fret. Feather light and played and sounded amazing...I regret selling it.
Guild made 600 over 6 years in the early to mid 80's.
