There are lint rollers at Petco that are extra sticky for dog hair. We have a bull mastiff that is an inside dog now (she has lymphoma) and those things are great.

For a while, my Danes had their own sofas in an office in the house

All 4 of our dogs are inside during the day (We had our fence destroyed in Hurricane Katrina and there are still large trees in the way (from the neighbor))

We did the "dog chair" at our old house.... and BURNT it when we moved.

I'm gonna ask Santa for a Dyson.... they seem like they work..

If I try to LINT roll all my furniture I'll spend a fortune in lint rollers and by the time I get one couch clean, the other will be full of dog hair again...

I am gonna look into the furminator though
