Flat Spot At 9k And Up

Recently my 02 busa started with a flat spot around 9k and up. I pulled the fuel pump and cleaned the screen, it was dirty. Almost seemed worse after that, my next guess would be fuel injectors or the high pressure filter after the pump. That's what that black cartridge on the fuel pump assembly is right? What's the best way to go about cleaning all of that up? Seems low on power in midrange too, but it runs smooth.

It's common for the fuel filter to cause the high rpm stumble. Can replace or do the fuel filter bypass mod. Should be able to find it on this site.

You can buy the filter, or buy the entire fuel pump assembly, Zuki likes their pumps........

I pulled the pump apart again and the 0-ring between the pump and filter was torn. Changed that out with one that seemed to fit. Was fine riding yesterday, now it seems to be back today. I'm going to order a replacement, back flush the filter, and look into some sort of external set up.
