First ride since July 4 (pics)

Last week's been hot. I always wanted to ride in the morning but my body kept saying NO. I was just too tired from work and can't have the energy to get up early in the morning.
I didn't go very far this time. Only 130+ miles.

Honestly, I'm green with envy. You managed to find time to ride her. I haven't had that chance to ride my bike since Father's Day run in Tahoe. That's it, I'm going to go out for a ride first thing in the a.m. tmrw dammit!

I forced myself to do it this morning. If I didn't, it's probably gonna be another weeek before I can get a ride in. The heat was really killing me lately.

SMART MAN !! I went for a ride with my Pop on Thursday. We left at 9:am, "for just a little ride", my Pop says. Well, 3 hours later I see a sign (had no idea where we were) that says "Chestertown 50 miles", and that's about an hour, and some change from home. I've never been on my bike where I thought I was going to throw up (no joke !). I didn't think I was going to make it home. It broke a hundred that day, I think the heat index was like 104.

I was able to put about 50 miles on mine yesterday morning after I got off of work. It has been rainy here for a while and I have only had the 4th off in the past 2 weeks. It was killing me not to ride!

HOT here in the south too. We rode about 90 miles saturday and it was like riding into the end of a hair drier.

The heat has been pretty bad and now followed by the slight chance of an isolated thunder storm this evening. Guess the forecasters have a different definition of slight chance than I since it's raining as I'm looking out the window. Should be a fun ride home!

I know, man. When the weather's nice, I can put close to 1,000 miles in 7 days. 100 miles a day on weekdays and 300-500 miles on weekends.
