To cbxchris: You're right about handling. I wouldn't corner an H-1, on a bet. That's why it was straight to the strip, with struts. Later built laydown frame, which would take H-2 motor, as well. They were far more suited to "point, and shoot", as in a straight line. Still have bike. May start restoration, soon. Didn't have wheelie bar, and airshifter, in early 70's. Current project is Busa. Would be fun to bust out that noisy, smelly chainsaw, though.
