First long ride (for me) on the busa...

My good friend Frank and I decided to go for a ride on the bikes. He rides a Yamaha R1 which he absolutely loves. We were going to head to the west coast of FL but the storm was hammering that side pretty well so we decided to hit up the keys. We finished at 260 miles roundtrip which is more than usual for me. For the first short leg we topped off the bikes after both leaving with a full tank of gas and surprisingly the busa burnt 2.1gal of 93 while the R1 burned 2.5 gallons of 93. This put the R1 at 32MPG while the busa was at 38MPG. The speed varied from 0 to 120 on this ride and mixed between highway and a little bit of city.

Yeah the R1 isn’t as good gas mileage wise

Lucky you! My area (near Tampa) has been hammered by rain since yesterday. Riding to the keys is on my wishlist.
