Finally got her back!

I modified and painted the factory undertail; installed smoke front turn signals and smoke LED tail light with integrated sequential turn signals.

Then she went in for paint – I had all the silver changed to pearl purple, and put Tapeworks reflective silver/reflective black emblems on it.

These are pretty bad pictures (cell phone) and I hope to have new pics up soon…but in the meantime I just had to share. The goal was to make the bike somewhat custom and my own...but I wanted it to look like it could've come from the factory.

Looks very good. If you look at my bike, I did the same thing. My bike has a full custom paint job with custom colors, but went with an oem scheme so it looked like one of a kind from the factory. Nobody has the same paint as me that I have seen. At least nobody has the same color codes as me. My paint cost $2600. But if you look at the quality of the paint job, its simply amazing. Usually with custom paint jobs you can find flaws and you can tell that it was a custom job aside from the custom look. The quality of the paint job isnt as good as factory jobs. But my paint job looks like it came from the factory, hence why it was so expensive for an oem scheme. Had I have done custom tribal or a theme, it would have been way more expensive.

Thanks guys - I was pleased with how it turned out.

It was initially supposed to be a lighter, more silvery purple....but, I'm still happy with how it turned out.

Looking good.:thumbsup:It feels good when it all comes together.Mine should be out of paint next week sometime I hope.

Thanks guys...I have a few other things I want to do to it - but I've always wanted the bike purple/gray and was surprised at how well (IMO) it turned out.
