Finally Bit the Bullet and bought a Busa

Yes, I know, it's a worthless thread without pictures, but I had to brag to someone.

I still have to pick the thing up. I stopped by a guys house that had one for sale and bought the bike on the spot.

2003 Black and Silver. The only part I don't like is that it has been sitting since 2005. I did fire it up and listen to it purr though.

Congrats. Someone may chime in on what you might want to check since its been sitting.

I would think new gas, plugs, oil & filter even before riding it too much.

I'm not 100% sure why. I do know that the previous owner is a Soldier so that may have had something to do with it.

It still has the 2005 tag on the bike.

I never asked if he had been deployed.
