Fast Idle Problem

I just installed a set of helibars and now have a problem with my fast idle.

I must have put something back together wrong because the cable tension on the fast idle switch just pulls it right back to the off position when I try to engage it.

Does anyone know what keeps the fast idle switch in place? I read some where else that there was a tiny spring in there, but I never saw one (didn't really look either).

I think someone said you have to reroute the cable or cables to avoid this problem.

It is rerouted, between the gas tank screws per the instructions and the pictures I've seen.

Figured it out. There is a silver screw with a spring under the housing that puts pressure on the switch, holding it in place.
