Fairing Screen Nose Install Question

I ordered some polished fairing screens and was wondering if anyone knew if the nose screens are installed directly to the nose fairing or ram tube like the originals? This is for a Gen II.

They are press fit inside the ram air tubes. There's a little lip in there that they hold against.

Just use a needle nose and you can manipulate the mesh.
