Hi all. Has anyone mapped the factory ignition timing or got something from a service agent showing what it is. Sounds like its all hush hush top secret stuff as no one seems able to help. We are installing a MoTeC M4 on a turbo busa engine shoe horned into a quad bike & want a baseline to start from. Cheers. Cory.

Baseline 38 total and after 4k rpm bump it to 42 total with whatever the manual calls for at *idle .
* 10-11 degree's I think
For increments below 4k use 2002-03 ZX-9R table
Big boost drop total back down to 38 or so .

Thanks for that mountainmotor. From the figures you gave they are obviously fairly agressive with the ignition timing. Would be interested to know how much they pull out at peak torque though as this will also be drastically effected by the turbo. Cheers. Cory.
