F*ck that bloody Corona virus!

It's great being old and decrepit like me in this lockdown . . .
I don't socialise
I don't go anywhere
I don't get visitors (I hate visitors!)
I don't get phone calls
I don't have to go to work
I don't have to pay any mortgage or bills ()
I don't have to drive my car
I don't have to spend any more cash on my bikes
I don't have to go to bed early
I don't have to wake up early
I don't have to do anything . . . .
yep, I'm havin' the time of my life!

Except for the non mortgage payment and not traveling, I’ve been in this mode pretty much since July 2015, my retirement. Also doing my best to (endure) the lack of traffic and low fuel prices.:D

It affects my work. It affects my private life. It affects my chances to get away from work and get some free time. It limits my time to ride my new bike. All because some people couldn't stay away from cuddling with bloody bats.

F*ck it!
I just needed to get this off my chest. Sorry.
Well thanks for the " Sugar Coated Version."
Don't fuggin start spewing and typing like me,folks will get us confused.
I hear ya man and feel yer pain. It's draining a lot of people.
Gotta persevere thou my brotha.
Rubb.

yeah man, I've just had a taste of retirement the last 5 weeks . .
I'm back to work now but rostered 4 days a week instead of 5 days due to lack of bikes and farm quads coming in for repairs and servicing.
I'm still on 80% pay, but making ends meet at this stage.
Wow, retired almost 5 years huh?
Do you sometimes wish you were back at work ?

Not one bit. From just 1989-2015 I worked directly for the Calif. Superior Court system in two counties dealing with every type of accused criminal you can think of but thankfully not directly involved in investigating whether or not they were guilty. I did that kind of work for a long time before. Mostly pretrial investigations for those 26 years. Kinda hard to explain but I knew I had had enough dealing with bad people. Left me quite jaded and distrustful.

Still some 15 years left until retirement. Very much involved in the corona crisis for the moment, so, YES, I am so full of envy.

Of you guys being retired, that is. Not necessarily of being jaded and distrustful. :D
I have 3 years of full time working before retirement at 65, but, I may work part time for a few years after that for the extra money over and above my superannuation from the Govt.
Thankfully the only 'criminals' I've rubbed shoulders with are mechanics (usually good dudes) and other bikers I've met. Unlike Wuzza, who dealt with bad people day in, day out.
I do not envy you Wuzza, for the crap you endured for all those years but I'm glad you are enjoying the peace and tranquil life you have now.
You have earned it, you deserve it.

So what do you do for work in Sweden Kjelle?

Dang virus!
No sex no drugs no wine no women no fun no sin no you wonder it's dark.

Anyone know what song that was from?

I retired a little over a year ago. We are not on lock down here but I mostly stay home except for groceries and riding.

The wife is working from home and I have to retreat to another room when things aren't going well.
