I've got a full Akrapovic titanium system with dual carbon fiber cans and I've never really had any issues with the heat from the cf cans. Great system, the titanium heats up fast but cools down fast and the cf cans get warm but I've never found them hot enough to burn me or my pillion. I've also found that a cf sleeve is easier to replace than a titanium or stainless sleeve if you ever scratch or damage the sleeves.

Akropovic doesn't make a full dual system for the gen2 Busa in Titanium, it's stainless steel.
I had the full dual Akropovic with cf mufflers on my gen2.
I asked, titanium wasn't/isn't available for that exhaust.
Either way, it is a great exhaust
