Exhaust temp probe.

Look at pics first, then read this:

So I have an EMtron ECU and I’m turbo’ing my race car (think 20laps +).

As added safety I’d like to add exhaust probes. When I took a proper look at the head, it looks like the probes will fit perfect all I have to do is tap and thread the Bungs..

Someone else must be loggin exhaust temps like this already. Any advice? Does the probe tip have to see more of the exhaust flow?

Only one here I can think of is @Boosted Cycle Perf he likes figuring out stuff, and has experience with turbo Busa motors in other platforms. Maybe he has some input for ya.

Thanks for the mention fellas, sorry for the delay. I took a few days off from both jobs to actually relax. I really needed it.

As for the egt probs, I don’t see why they wouldn’t work there. As long as you can get the tip of the prob in to the center of the port it should work well.
