Exhaust pipe question, no, not which one is best!

I just got my Akrapovic pipe and it is made of 8 pieces which all slip fit together, held by springs. My question is, should I take it all apart and use hi-temp silicone on each joint, then put if back together?

You definitely want to seal it, I did the same for mine when I put my akro on last summer.

Pep Boys,Auto Zone or Discount Auto parts sell Ultra Copper.Make sure that you dont get any inside the Header pipe.That will make you lose a little horsepower.
