If someone could tell me the function of the emergency kickstand cutoff switch when the kickstand is down, the clutch is disengaged and the motorcycle is put in 1st. Does this harm anything when it shuts down. Or is it similar to simply hitting the emergency cut off switch. This makes me worry about engine and transmission performance and I would just like to know if this safty feature on the bike harms anything at all!!! If somebody could give me a factual response it would greatly be appreciated.
