Does anyone know of a site that show how much each appliance uses in electric, or a mater that you plug in the wall and then plug int the appliance that you want to check????

It depends on what info you are looking for. If you are looking for amperage many appliances have a label on it stating the volts and amps. If the label does not have the amps you can measue it usung a clamp meter (Ideal 61-702). Amperage is usually used to figure out what size breaker you will need, and or what guage of wire is needed to supply power.

If you are looking for watts I believe it is volts x amps = wattage. Power co. measures in kilo watts. Which is 1000 watts per hr.

Well the tale of my bathroom remodel has at least gotten funnier. 1. Turn breaker to bathroom off. done 2. Drill hole in wall through plaster lathing. done 3. Grab wires to wrap... started but not finished. 4. Realize that this particular light fixture is on a completely different breaker...
