ECU mod on 1999 Busa?

Just had my bike back from the dealers. He commented that the throttle response is somewhat more on/off than stock, he said it definitely didn't feel standard. He asked me if I or anyone had ever modified the ECU. I said no, but I don't know about previous owners.

Anyone have any info on this? I know nothing about ECU flashing etc - how can I tell if it has been done to my bike or not?
