My Gen2 2008 'busa is in the shop. I had poor running at 6000rpm and after looking at things discovered that the fuel pump was basically gone. A new OEM pump assembly was installed and the problem seemed to be gone.
While putting the bike back together the mechanic grounded/shorted a wire running to one of the fuel injectors. That injector looks like it is done for. The mechanic thinks that it might have taken out the ECU. The bike runs but on 3 cylinders. Can anyone help with how to trouble shoot what else it might be. Hoping that it is not the ECU.
