dumb question, maybe

I have a stock 2002 Busa other than D&D cans. My question is can a stock bike be tune that is with no power commander? I went on a ride a week ago and a friend who was behind me said it seemed when I got on it he could smell raw fuel. I'm wondering if it could be running too rich.

Yes, they can flash the ECU.

sure. I am having my 06 tuned with an ecu editor. Heck i pulled my powercommander off that had a brock map on it. Prob. is running rich too. air box mod will help as well if you get it tuned.

Thanks, picked it up last fall only had 4200 miles and not a scratch on it. it has a few more now miles that is not scratches. Heres the whole stable. Guess which I like to ride the most.

ECU tuning available. These bikes run on the rich side. If the slip-ons are the only mod to the bike, they just didn't make a big difference to the tune. Have the plugs ever been changed ?
