I'm picking this up tomorrow. It's $8.99. Thoughts?

Yes, it works very well. I have it, and have used it several times...
I try to sharpen the blades on my mower at least 3 or 4 times a year...
You won't realize just how dull and flat the leading edge of the blades can get, until you sharpen them...
It's like a new mower for a while...

David

For those who don't know what is, it attaches to a Dremel and keeps the Dremel at the correct angle to the blade and provides a sharper edge with relative ease and speed...
Always remember, the Angle of the Dangle is most important...

Your supposed to sharpen them things?

My 13 year old mows the lawn, never heard him complain yet.

I have seen those, I guess I should go get one and sharpen mine

Last Fathers day the Wifey bought me all the Dremel stuff Home Depot had...
The main kit, and 2 Acc kits to go with it...
All together, there are several hundred tool, parts, bits and pieces to it...
More than I know what to do with...
But it's nice to have...

And one of the Acc kits...
And the other Acc kit has 225 pieces, I think...
Lots of fun to play with...

(thismonsterlives @ Sep. 27 2006,15:08) This is my kit

And you can do as much as I can do.
She meant well, and I don't have the Heart to tell her, butt she went way to far...
All the extra part, bits and pieces, and gadgets are nice, but overkill...

I just bought one myself a few weeks ago and it made my year+ old lawn mower blade brand new! Grass looked great!

I do my blades about the same way,  it takes a few minutes, but the price is right. For under $10, how far wrong can you go
