Of course this site is better, but Suzukihayabusa.org isn't bad. A lot of cool people there.

I just don't like the way the site is organized as much.

nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Each site has its pros and cons.  I enjoy suzukihayabusa.org for its technical advise and parts for sale.

I know you guys like this site, but the other Hayabusa sites have some good information also.  Some of the posts I see on this site make me feel like I need a group hug.  I enjoy this site, but sometimes you guys are just a little to full of yourselves.

Bring it on...

Let me get this straight...

Hayabusa.org members = Full of themselves
Puck = Registered member of Hayabusa.org w/ 116 posts

Puck = Full of himself

Hey...sometimes it does get a bit thick here, but so what. Don't you get enough negativity from the rest of the world? Sh^t man! Why is it a crime to have a bunch of people who like and respect each other?

Bring it on...
So now we are supposed to gang up on you and call you every dirty name in the book right? WRONG! Try to keep it straight what site you are on. Here, you are entitled to your opinion.

Yeah......take your bike sleeping butt over to Labusas......maybe you can post your avatar in their "porn" album.

I have to admit I look through both of them on occasion but this place is home without a doubt.

I consider this site my home site as well. I do however do most of my riding with LAbusas folks.

I don't get it. Puck post that he thinks we are full of ourselves and he is asked to go to LAbusas. Doesn't that support his opinion of us?

You guys posted exactly what I thought you would.  Anyone who has an opinion other than what the censors of this board feels is appropriate to talk about is slammed.

The majority of people who visit this forum and others do so for information on the Hayabusa.  Some people post, other read the information.  My comment “sometimes you guys are just a little to full of yourselves†is in regards to some of the post that I read on this page stating how bad all the other Hayabusa pages are.  If this is considered a negative comment some of you guys have lived a very sheltered life and need to grow some thicker skin.  Just because I don’t agree with your opinion, doesn’t mean I can’t state my own.

I enjoy coming to this board as well as others.  I make comments when I have something to contribute to the conversation.  I don’t believe in post whoring just to bring my numbers up.

As far as the avatar – “it’s a joke†that I thought was funny.  If you think its porn, you need to get a life…

Puck,
You're cool. I understood your joke totally. I found that boards are tricky because there's always your main players and the others. The thing I learnt is, first you got to get to know everyone and then just accept what's a happening. On this one board I go to, there's this one guy that always..always give me a hard time. Man I just want to quit posting there but I've got so many friends there..what do I do. I just ignore his posts. So, I just wanted to stay, I totally know where your coming from. So don't be a stranger and let's hear from you more often. Have fun.

I have said it many times before and I will say it again, I frequent suzukihayabusa.org daily, I see things that I do like and things that I don't, the fact of the matter is that at any point I have the option to not come back. I used to go to Labusas and read the threads there but I did not care for the flavor of the content I chose not to go back. Thats the cool thing about the Internet you have choices. Now as far as the members and content here, I try to keep it clean thats my choice, I try to allow open forums and little censorship in regards to opinions and subject matter, however there have been times that I have removed or cleaned up post on the basis that the content did not fit into my vision for this website. I have had many discussions from members of suzukihayabusa and Labusas, to stereotype all members from a site into one catagory would be a mistake. Labusas is a little more vocal with their opinions and I sometimes do not care for the content but I still respect the members there. SH.org is the same way, there is no way that I could compete with Dennis when it comes to working on a busa, I have a difficult time changing the plugs in mine. However he has a different feel to his site and I enjoy going there for a different point of view. All in all I dont think that one site is any better than the other I think it boils down to what site you feel more comfortable at. Just because you fit in this one doesnt mean that the others are garbage, it just means that you prefer it here...... So guys be careful in your wording, sometimes it comes off sounding condescending. If you like it here then stick around, if you like it there great but whatever you do don't get caught up in flame wars over something that everyone could be right on....

Captain's personal opinion....

Well said captain, and I totally agree. The fact of the matter is that most of us probably visit numerous sites on a daily basis. It shouldn't be a crime to feel more at home at one site over the other, Unfortunately, many people would read your intelligent and objective synopsis, and say that you are pompous or arrogant. I say keep up the good work...it is appreciated!

As I stated to Puck, he is entitled to his opinion and 90% of us aren't going to "slam" him for it. However, there is 10% who will take the bait when he said "bring it on". I believe he was looking for a reaction and you didn't indulge him. In fact you (Captain), and particularly Flying Swan, handled it with style and grace.

One last point, PUCK: Good or bad, if you want to get the real flavor of each site, to see who is really a little "full of themselves", try the following experiment:

Go to each site and write the exact quote that you used here.
...know you guys like this site, but the other Hayabusa sites have some good information also.  Some of the posts I see on this site make me feel like I need a group hug.  I enjoy this site, but sometimes you guys are just a little to full of yourselves.

Bring it on...
The group hug comment may not be totally appropriate there, but it won't matter. After you try this, please be honest and give us a summary of the responses. Please use exact quotes, as I wouldn't want to lose the flavor of the responses.  But I would be curious if you will still feel that we slammed you for your opinion.

Try it!

Obvioulsy Hank you did not get my last post. Sometimes you need just move on, if the site isnt for you then move on, find one that you do like. This site has not generated your boredom, but according to your statment is probably not meeting your needs. I did not create this place for you to debate your political, religious, or personal beliefs, it was created to allow men a women with a common hobby to communicate and interact. There are thousands of places in the net for you to go and argue with others about topics ranging from abortion to a possible war with Iraq, search them out, find a place that you feel complete and camp there until you feel you need something else. I have not the time nor the desire to listen to people b&^#@ all the time. I have allowed the content to sway away from the typical bike content because of off season boredom but regardless of the time of year common courtesy and common sense rule here. If you feel that another place on the web is needed for you to banter with other people the you can purchase www.hanksplacetobitch.com is available for only 39.95 a month at any Internet registry. It amazes me how people feel that they own this site, and that I owe them something, this is my web page if you like it stay, if you dont leave... Its really a simple thing..

When I read the topic, before I clicked on it I already had my response thought out. Thanks for posting it for me guyz/gals!

Must be the cold weather.  No time to ride, so what else is there left to do?  In my opinion, we have been getting too much of this type of rhetoric.  I think that everyone here are great people and I do consider you all as family.  Seems as though, at times we have lost some focus as to the true meaning of this board.  I am in total agreement with Captain when he says that you have a choice of which board you choose to frequent and your opinions of whether you like it or not lies simply with the click of your mouse button.  Just my.02
