Using the preload to make a geometry change isn't optimal. It'll work, but a chasis adjustment should be used for geometry changes.

Your preload should be set-up for the amount of sag you want to use.

Recalculated, someone check my math...

Stock= 4 11/16
+1= 4 3/8

5/16 makes a 1" change, so 5/64 makes a 1/4" change

Meaning,
+1 1/4= 4 29/64
+1 1/2= 4 17/32
 
I'm a retard, I went the wrong way.

Stock = 4 11/16
+1    = 4 3/8
+1 1/4= 4 19/64
+1 1/2= 4 7/32


If mills aren't accurate to the 64th or 32nd, then 4 1/4" should almost be but not quite +1 1/2" (+1 2/5 to be exact).

Ratio is 3 on 1
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 1"=8,4666 mm
All is in MM (sorry you must use the calc.)

OEM nr 24F0 =119mm
Lowering 1"make 127.5mm
Highering 1"make 110.5mm
