Does you 186 mph limiter really limit you?

I'm a firm believer that you can prove anything with facts

See the below Dyno run with the 186 limiter and soft cut in blue and without in Red

Restricted 290kph or 180.1mph
Unrestricted 305kph or 189.5mph

If you assume the the restricted reading should read 186mph then the unrestricted should be 195mph !!

9 mph difference with stock gearing on a Gen1, whether you ever get the road to use it is a different story.

How many miles on that tire when you did the test?

Not a clue, was sometime last year and mileage wouldn't bother me for a Dyno run unless it was brand new (wouldn't wanna rip up a new one) or if it was proper f*cked.

What I mean is the diameter is smaller on a high mileage tire so top speed will be affected. If it was new the readings would also be higher (if no slip)... ;)

Ahh, correct the gearing would be different on a new vs worn tyre

Both done runs were done the same day so there is no differential there, must do it with a new tyre and see if there is any diff
