V-MAX ?? Did someone say V-MAX??
Think of who their major advertiser is....yeah i seen it..i got that issue of sport rider...but i also got the issue of the british/european mag superbike..they also had a shootout with the big guns...i cant believe that they placed the busa in 2nd making the bmw 1200r in first..when the busa beat it outright in horsepower/ torque and performance...i guess their on crack and wanna be different, and also deny the truth...
My favorite spot too Jinkster!Oddly enough?...My favorite part was located in the lower right hand corner of page 48...where a dynograph of "Driving Force (LBS)" and "Speed (mph)" is found and covered not just the Busa, ZX12 and Beamer but also the ZX-10R...with an accompanying caption of...
"Internet message boards are full of smack about how current liter bikes are as powerful as the Busa and 12R but peak horsepower numbers don't tell the whole story. These bikes are all about TORQUE and THRUST; Power that YOU FEEL rather than what is measured by a dyno. Sure the ZX-10R has almost the same peak horsepower as the ZX-12R but everywhere else ALL THREE BIG BIKES STOMP ALL OVER THE LITTLE KAWASAKI!!!"
yep....that was my favorite part.
Incorrect. The World Guinness Book of Records says that the Busa is the fastest production motorcycle in the world.
Jeeze, I don't know where you are, but bring it on. Do you want to quit the whining and put the cards on the table?Incorrect. The World Guinness Book of Records says that the Busa is the fastest production motorcycle in the world.
They state that the Hayabusa has the highest reported top speed of any production bike with 194mph done by Cycle World magazine.
Guiness didn't verify the results, conduct their own test, the test was not sanctioned by any LSR organization, the results were not certified by any LSR organization, it was no official test at all. Just a mag test. If Cycleworld came out and printed that a Katana 600 ran 200mph.... Guiness would print that the Katana 600 is the Worlds Fastest Bike.
On top of that... Cycle world did it on an 8 mile stretch of road!!! Yes, 8 freaking miles. There was no ZX12R being tested with it on that day under the same conditions with the same distance... so there's no saying it's faster than the ZX12R.
In fact, the fastest OFFICIAL CERTIFIED stock production bike run was done by a ZX12R in 2000 by Doug Meyer at maxton.... ONLY 1.16mi!!! It hit 192.3mph, making it OFFICIALLY the fastest stock production bike.
The Guiness book merely makes REFERANCE to the highest recorded speed on a stock bike.
yea but let us spend 31 grand on a busa and see if they can keep up then bwhahahahahahaaha bad thing is we could spend 31 grand just to watch robopti pass us on his Busawas a great write updid anybody notice harleys hayabusa hunter on page 30 just over 31 grand and ya can have a 9 second harley
