Do it yourself oil change

Gals and Guys her's the scoop on changing your oil on the Hayabusa,Tools needed: rear Jack,snub nose philip screw driver, 4mm allen wrench"T-bar type is good",17mm socket and ratchet,small flat head screw driver,small flash light,and suzuki oil filter removal tool or adjustable oil filter removal tool.Start by removing the right side body panel if you are just doing the oil change.Remove the seven smaller 4mm allen bolts first,leave the two bigger 4mm bolts on,they will be removed last.Next remove the three philip screws which hold the lower right inner black plastic panel.You might have to move the front tire various different angles to get to the screws.Next the same black panel is also held in place by a snap on plastic plug which you can pop out by reaching down between the right inner body,now remove the black inner plastic.Next you need to remove the plug that holds the top black plastic cover which is attached the the right body panel,use a small flathead scree drive and pop out the front plastic plug,the rear part of the cover comes off by pulling up on it which unsnaps it.Now remove the two bigger 4mm allen bolt and remove the body panel.Remove the oil drain plug with the 17mm socket and also remove the filter.Drain the old oil,install new filter and drain plug and add 10/40wt oil about 3.7USqt.Start the engine to make sure no oil is leaking.Clean your engine at this time or check for loose bolts,nuts,cables,wires at this time also.Reinstall your body panel by putting in the two bigger 4mm allen bolts first,leave both bolts loose for now and be careful that you do not scratch your plastic near the brake pedal.Now put on the inner right side black plastic and make sure it's flush with the body,secure with the three philip screw,don't forget the plastic snap in plug for this unit also.Now put all the seven smaller allen bolts back on loose,attach the black top cover by snapping in the rear first and putting in the front plastic plug.Now lineup the body plastic and tighten down all the 4mm allen bolts.Recheck everything.That's it folks.Good luck
