WARNING: Using a homemade bandana-like mask will not prevent COVID-19 from entering your bio-system. See:
CDC Recommends Covering the Face for details.

You Will Need:
  • An old sheet, rag, t-shirt. Higher thread count = greater density. I used old bed sheet
  • Sharpie (any color, depends on fabric color choice)
  • A logo image (stole mine from Internet)
  • Something like an X-acto pen (I used a box cutter)
  • A hard surface (for tracing the stencil)
  1. Print the logo. Card stock is good but I used plain copier paper. You can transfer your flimsy stencil onto card stock or even box cardboard from your last parts shipment. Not necessary, but makes drawing the stencil onto the fabric easier
  2. Use X-acto to cut out the logo and create a stencil
  3. Cut your fabric. 22” X 22” (56 X 56 cm). Larger heads may require more fabric. Or you can get fancy here and actually cut out tie straps but not necessary
  4. Fold fabric along a diagonal (and make sure it fits your [large] head)
  5. Place folded fabric on hard surface (for tracing)
  6. Position stencil at desired location on fabric. Wherever, but I chose to keep it below the mouth
  7. Trace the stencil (gel pens and ballpoints are good for tracing. Sharpie bleeds too much)
  8. Color in stenciled fabric with Sharpie - (or whatever, but old bed sheets bleed easily)
  9. Go riding. Always use a Hayabusa when riding.

John,

I am worried....

But at the same time it is very funny to see how you slowly loose it at home......
